저희의 2010년 모국방문에 대하여 먼저 간단히 말씀을드림니다.
저희 혼혈인 협회에서는 오는 2010년 5월 23일 부터 6월5일 까지
“Journey to Motherland” “어머니의 땅을찾아” 라는주제로 모국방문은 준비 하고있읍니다
약 100~150명 정도가 참여할수있는 프로그램을 작성중이며 선착순위로 신청서가
11월 1일 부터 실시됩니다.
아직 정식 신청서는 발부되지도 않았는데 벌써 43명의 회원들께서 이번 프로그램의 동참을 하시겠다는 서명을 주셨읍니다.
이곳 켈리포니아 에서는 한국 방문을 위하여 모금활동을 시작 하였읍니다.
작은 노력이지만 우리의 힘으로 오는 10월부터 비영리재단 (Non-profit Organization) 활동을 실행하게 되었읍니다.
그리고 벌써 2번에 거처 Garage Sale 을 하였고 Car Wash 와 Candy Sale 을 준비중입니다. 비영리 재단으로 일어서려는 저희는 여러모의 협찬이 필요한 시기입니다.

This meeting is for anyone whom is part/mixed Korean; It doesn't matter what the percentage is, what the other mix is, how old you are and where you were born/raised. Other folks (i.e. non-mixed Koreans) are welcome to attend as well as long as they have a sincere interest in people of mixed Korean descent (or if they are a significant other, etc.).
The reason for this meet is simple. We haven't had one in many years (since 1998!) and I believe it is the right time to have one again.
We will have the meeting and have dinner sometime afterward in Ktown. There is no cost for the meeting itself, just for wherever we decide to have dinner. We will try to have a place in mind by the time of the meeting (due to the possibility of a larger group we may need to make reservations).
It will consist of a few speakers and then open discussion between all attendees. I want it to be a social and networking opportunity for us all but semi-informational/educational at the same time.
Right now, I have lined up the following speakers:
Philip "Flip" Cuddy - Very prominent person/voice of Korean-American History/Culture who also happens to be the Grandson of famous Korean patriot "Dosan" Ahn Chang Ho and son of Korean American pioneer Susan Ahn Cuddy. If you don't know who they are please Google :)
Frankie & Tia Legoski - Korean Amerasian couple whom are members of HAAUSA (Hanmi Amerasians Association of the USA). They are the founders of the non-profit organization Amerasian Unity Foundation as well as the creators of a collaborative effort named "Journey to Motherland" which is a cultural event/trip to Korea for 2010 to coincide with the 60th Anniversary of the Korean War. They will discuss this in further detail at the meeting.
Please let me know if you can make the meet, dinner, or both so we can have a good estimate on head count.

안녕하세요.KBL운영팀의 이혁준입니다. 저번에 보내드린 내용과 관련하여 추가적인 내용을 전해드리고자 합니다.
현재 KBL 경기이사로 계신분 또한 혼혈인 농구스타 플레이어 김동광 이사님 이십니다.
한미 혼혈인 총연합회 쪽으로 KBL혼혈인 드래프트 관련 내용에 대한 홍보 부탁을 드렸다는 내용을 말씀드리니,
김동광 이사께서도 훌륭한 선수를 선발 하는데 도움을 주시기를 부탁하셨습니다.
KBL은 2009년도에 처음으로 귀화혼혈인 드래프트를 시행하였고, 올해 2010 드래프트를 시행합니다
작년에 7명의 혼혈인 선수가 참가하여 5명의 선수가 KBL에 선출되어 이번 2009~2010시즌(10월15일) 개막부터 출전하게 되었습니다.
귀화혼혈인 선수 드래프트는 혼혈인 만을 대상으로 하는 KBL 드래프트이며, 본 드래프트로 선출된 선수는 KBL 농구선수로 활동하면서 귀화절차를 이행해야하는 기본 조건이 포함되어 있습니다. 이러한 조건 때문에 귀화혼혈인 선수라고 칭합니다.
작년에 선출된 5명의 선수 중 2명(에릭산드린, 토니에킨스)은 한국인 어머니가 국적회복을 하여 바로 귀화자격을 얻어, 현재 귀화(2009년 8월 귀화시험합격)하여 한국 국적을 취득하였으며, 나머지 3명(그레고리 스티븐슨, 케빈 미첼, 크리스 벤)은 한국인 어머니가 국적회복을 하지 못하는 상황이여서 3년 이상 체류한 후에야 귀화자격을 얻을 수 있는 상황입니다.
기본조건은 다음과 같습니다.
1. 선발방식
1) 구단 별 1/n 선발
2) 구단 별 귀화 혼혈인 선수는 1명씩 선발할 수 있음.
(현재 5팀은 2009년도 선발하여 2010 드래프트에 5팀만이 1명씩 선출할 수 있음)
2. 조건
1) 귀화 혼혈인 선수로 한번 등록되면 대한민국 국적을 득하더라도 귀화혼혈인 선수 신분임.
2) 재계약은 최대 3시즌, 3시즌 계약 종료 후에는 FA(자유계약)자격을 획득한다(다만 타구단 선 협상 후 제의 없을 시에 원 소속 구단과 계약이 가능함)
3) 최초 연봉은 최저 4천5백만원~1억원 (차기 시즌부터는 제한 없음)
4) 에이전트 Fee는 선수 연봉의 10%이다.(첫번 째 시즌만 지급함)
5) 계약 기간 중 귀화절차 미 준수 시 매년 5월에 원 소속 구단의 계약포기 가능.
6) 만일 귀화 후에 KBL 국내선수 드래프트에 참가할 시에는 위와 같은 규정에 적용 받지 않고 국내선수와 동일한 자격을 부여받을 수 있음.

KBL Pre-Draft Tryout / Draft (for Half- Korean Players)
Korean Basketball League(KBL) Try-out & Draft for “Half-Korean Players” will be held on Feb. 2nd 2010. The players who are interested to become eligible to play in KBL 2010~2011 season (scheduled to commence from the middle of October 2010 and last until end of April 2011.) and meet the qualifications stated below, are requested to fill out the application form and send it in via fax or by e-mail to KBL office by Dec.23 rd, 2009 (Korea Time)
w A. Required Qualification for “Half-Korean Players”
“Half-Korean” means whose biological father or mother has previously held Korean citizenship and has since gained foreign citizenship. If “Half-Korean Player” is drafted by KBL, player MUST take legal procedure and become Korean Citizen.
1. Must have at least a high school diploma
2. Must be at least 18years of age

2.Must be able to produce original or photo copy of biological father or mother’s family register document or Korean passport which shows name, DOB, passport number and photo of individual. (Important : All information in the document MUST be clearly legible)

5. Give a Video or DVD (If it is possible)
※ Players who have criminal (both misdemeanor and felony) records from within the last three consecutive years will not be eligible for the 2010 Pre-Draft Tryout & Draft
