구월 시작부터 하루종일 울어대는 매미의 합창으로 시작해서 밤이오면 귀뚜라미들의 소리는 마음을 머나먼 추억속에 숨어있는 그리움을 자아 내어 아련히 기억나는 어린시절 같이놀던 친구들 생각. 어머님 생각. 얼굴 기억도 없는 아버지를 그리워 하던 그시절이 떻오르는군요.
오십 중반 나이에도 마음은 아직 도 어린시절로 다녀올수가 있는것은 아름다운 것 같군요.
물고기도 나이가 들면 고향을 찿아가는데 우리들의 마음도 서서히 서로를 그리워 하게 되나 봅니다.

70년대에 미네소타주 로 입양을 와서 서로의 외로움을 달래며 20여년을 친 형제처럼

보내는 곳은 UGANDA. 그곳에 있는 소녀 와 소년 들 의 약 20% 는 에이즈로 부모를 여인 고아들 입니다. Christmas in Africa 이라는 제목으로 불우아들에게 미소를 선물 하려는 프로그렘 임니다. 저도 처음으로 아프리 돕는 일이기 때문에 우리 협회의 도움이 필요하고요. 저혼자가 아닌

The reason I am writing you is to fine out little more ab out your sponsoring group house called Manna House . I am working on a project named Christmas in Africa. This idea is started=2 0last year while I was volunteering in Oakland with few pastors. This project is to share kids clothes (New and used) with needy children in Africa. I am planning to collect the clothes till mid October of this year and ship it to the organization where they can be distributed to needy African children. Thanks so much for the care about the forgotten kids of Africa. I run an NGO that is assisting many kids with needs and school fees and medical fees and other things. We have over 350 kids from the most destitute homes imaginable. The home has 30 kids who all have aids and are on drugs. The home gets more things than our village kids who are not quite as visible as they are scattered. I do not have one church or village here but many many villages. Hi, all,
I’m sure all is well with you somewhere in globe.
It’s been almost 3 months since we’ve moved to Hamburg, Germany.
Hamburg is not Los Angeles but it has all the characteristics of a large city so we’ve been enjoying the new city primarily on good restaurants (lots of fusions), sightseeing near or around Hamburg, variety of bars, carnivals, yes they do have tons of carnivals in Germany. It’s hard to adjust from L.A. to Hamburg especially food and new friends and weather. Things are not all that easy all around especially language but we are swimming through… my wife seems picking up German language better than me though. Goods are generally expensive here, I’d say 1/3 higher than the States but heck, and this is Europe so we are coping with it. Gasoline costs over $10 per gallon so fill up a small tank would cost well over $100…. Get used to though.
Rains lot here. In L.A., we get about 20 days of rain per year, in Hamburg, we get 20 sunny days per year, I think. There were nice days in May but that was it… it rains every day since. There’s no sprinklers here. That’s nice. The weather changes every few hours so it’s very tough to manage so we basically carrying jackets and umbrella everywhere we go. We always keep coats in car as well. People wearing winter coats in August here… I guess it’s a fashion thing.
Few bright spots are…. I can drive as fast as I wasn’t without fearing highway patrol behind me here. I just have to worry about someone driving faster than me (do we call them crazy?) so I can get in to 2nd lane. I’ve been driving >180Km consistently on Autobahn and some people passes by like arrow… all the time…. Amazing. Along with it, we’ve been traveling every weekend so we already visited many places in Northern Europe as well as southern France and Poland. Yes, Poland. Not many tourists there but they are far out… great places. I’ll send you a link so you can see what we’ve been up to lately.

11월 9일(일) 하인즈워드 선수 경기관람, 교육문화센터에서의 미국문화 체험, 양부모가정에서의 홈스테이 등으로 진행되며 하인즈워드 선수와의 즐거운 식사와 대화, 게임경기 등 다채로운 내용으로 진행됩니다.
